CPR Certification Hybrid Class

This class is recommended for parents, grandparents, anyone caring for an infant, and people desiring a CPR Certification. The primary emphasis of the class is on injury prevention, and also includes learning how and when to administer CPR to an infant. You will learn common choking hazards and demonstrate how to rescue an infant who has an airway obstruction. We discuss ways to baby-proof your home, reduce the risk of SIDS, and consider how safety challenges change as babies develop and explore. This class is taught by a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator and an American Heart Association Certified CPR Instructor, and results in Heartsaver CPR certification through the American Heart Association. This class contains an online learning portion that must be completed prior to class*

*For the certification course there is a $22 fee for the card itself + $15 online course (about 1.75 hours). Please consider these costs when signing up for this class. All participants will receive instructions on how to register for online classes.

Price for class is per person.

Praise for Jocelyn:

“Jocelyn taught a very interactive class with lots of discussion and hands on experiences and created an environment that was open to share and discuss anything. This class built confidence that I have the tools I need to take care of my baby safely."
