Prepared Parenting Childbirth Class
Preparing to welcome a new baby can be as exciting as it is terrifying. Our Prepared Parenting Childbirth Class is designed to support expectant parents through this miraculous journey. We will cover everything you will need to know to confidently prepare for labor, the birth, bringing and caring for both mom and baby when you get home, and breastfeeding basics. Taught by Rue Khosa, a family nurse practitioner and mother of two, our class is evidence-based yet fun, interactive and practical.
The class is either:
-Eight hours one day with a lunch break.
-Four hours each Saturday and Sunday with shorter breaks.
Price is per couple.

It is with this philosophy that Rue Khosa founded The Perfect Push in 2015. The Perfect Push (TPP) is a parenting support service providing private customized childbirth and prepared parenting classes, labor, lactation and postpartum support. TPP is committed to providing the best and safest evidence-based care.
Rue is uniquely qualified to enable new parents in this way. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified Lactation Specialist and Childbirth Educator. She spent seven years as a labor and delivery nurse prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, working in hospitals across the US as a staff nurse and a travel nurse. She received her graduate degree from Georgetown University, and undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She is currently a nurse practitioner in Urgent Care for the University of Washington Physicians. Rue is also a Teaching Associate in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Washington’s School of Medicine and an Adjunct Faculty at Northwest University Buntain School of Nursing. She is the founder of the Northwest Family Fest, a fun and fabulous family event in the heart of Redmond WA that celebrates and enables local businesses to showcase their family-friendly, family-focused products and services. Outside of redefining the childbirth and parenting experience, Rue is a wife and mother of two boys (5 and 1.5). She and her family live in Bothell.
