Preparing for the 3rd and 4th Trimesters - FREE CLASS!
You've spent hours readying the nursery, gathering supplies, thinking about labor. Now it's time to prepare for the changes you may experience physically, mentally, and in your day-to-day life in the months before and after the birth of your baby. This class will provide practical tips to address the expected changes in your body and the "surprises" most people don't talk about. We'll discuss helpful tools to support you through common aches and pains, breast changes and challenges, Baby Blues and mental health concerns, incontinence, and postpartum healing (including what to expect and what to have on hand). Bring the questions you haven't had time to discuss during your prenatal visits, and we'll bring some you may not have thought to ask! Support people are welcome and encouraged to join.
Ana Torvie, MD
Ana is a board certified OB/Gyn with Northwest Womens' Healthcare, a private practice that delivers at Swedish First Hill and focuses on personalized care of women through all phases of their lives. An Arizona native but true "Husky," Ana attended the University of Washington for her undergraduate degrees, as well as medical school and specialty training in OB/Gyn.

Outside of medicine, Ana can be found sharing a meal with family and friends, exploring locally and globally, or relaxing with yoga and her black lab, Lucy.
